During her teenage years, she transitioned to Cleveland and attended Central High School. Upon graduating from high school, she was introduced to her soon to be husband, Luther Walker by her cousin Joyce. Joyce was dating Thomas Weathers which was the cousin of Luther Walker. The two of them bonded immediately and started making plans for their future together.

Theodora was a devoted mother and enjoyed raising her children, she took time to instill in them the importance of faith & family. Theodora was blessed to be able to embrace all life had to offer. Throughout her life she was known as a beloved, knowledgeable friend to many who knew her. As well as the "Rock" of her family because of her voice of reason, caring nature, timely advice, and humble demeanor.

Theodora was also the caregiver of the family. She took care of many loved ones and neighbors throughout her lifetime. She was always there to uplift others and offer support in their time of need.
