Beloved son of Eleanor Matthews; father of three sons: Reginald Vernon Matthews Jr., Justin William Matthews (Shirli), Christopher Charles Matthews (Amy Rose); a daughter LaToyia Deniece Jones; grandchildren Jai'Lee Nicole Matthews, Jacob William Matthews, Courtlyn Marie Coggins. Zion Alan Matthews (deceased); sisters Sharon Brown (Monte'); Revea Michelle Pryor (Thomas), Amy Alane Lee (Ron); a brother-in-law Dondi Ray Jones (Janet).
Mr. Matthews' wife Cheryl passed on the same date.
