Preston Collins Morton Sr., 88, of Cleveland, Ohio, passed away peacefully at home on July 25, 2025, surrounded by his loved ones.

Born in Moncks Corner, South Carolina, Preston was the son of Phillip and Lorine Morton. After graduating from Berkley High School in 1955, he moved to Ohio and attended Cleveland State University. He proudly served in the U.S. Army as a radio operator, including deployment to Korea.

Preston worked for over three decades at General Electric and later became the owner of Cuyahoga Janitorial Service. His unmatched work ethic and commitment carried through every chapter of his life.

A man of deep faith, Preston was a devoted member of Bethany Baptist Church for over 60 years, where he served faithfully in multiple roles. He was a loving husband to Maxine Morton for 57 years, a proud father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, and a constant source of strength and reliability to his family and friends.

He will be remembered for his humility, dependability, strong values, and servant heart. Preston leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and perseverance.
