Martin Robinson was born on March 27, 1961, to Therese Gooden and the late Martin Robinson Sr., in Cleveland, Ohio.

Martin attended Cleveland Public Schools and graduated from East High School. He was known to walk around with a basketball and boom box.

In 1973, Martin met Toni Lemons at a party and they established a friendship and later got married in January of 1979. Martin and Toni went on to have three beautiful children: Martin III, Nina and Phillip. He worked for Union 310 for 27 years as a Foreman until retirement.

Martin loved to be around his family and friends, especially his grandchildren. He loved to play basketball, listen to music and was an avid sports fan.

Martin was preceded in death by his father Martin Sr., brother Larry and his wife Toni.

Martin passed away on November 14, 2022, with his daughter by his side. He leaves to celebrate his life, his mother Therese Gooden; sons Martin III, Phillip and Erikus; daughter Nina; 8 grandchildren; Candice, Ayshia, Indya, Martin IV, Maya, Jaylen, Taylor and Phillip Jr.; 1 great-grandchild, Ameirr; sisters Renee and Keke; brother Sam and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
