Jeffrey Leonard Gillis, the beloved son of the late Carrie Gillis and Henry Jones. Jeffrey was born on February 6, 1964. He was well raised by his mother and the late Abu Hinton (DAD). Jeffrey was educated in Cleveland Public School; he later received his Associate's Degree in Arts from Cuyahoga Community College. He was also the President of the Student Affairs Department. Jeff was a dear friend to all who knew him. He was always willing to help others, he was a very positive role model and always gave the best advice to those who needed. He had an uncharted love for Michael Jackson, Marvel and DC comics. There are not enough words to express or describe the amazing and thoughtful man he was. On December 24th, Jeffrey suddenly departed this life. He was preceded in death and join in heavenly sanctuary with his mother Carrie Gillis, biological father Henry Jones, father Abu Hinton, brothers Anthony Gillis and Ahmid Hinton, and sister Latonya Hinton. He leave to cherish his memories his only child Natasha Fleetwood (Kenneth), Grandson Dyshawn Fleetwood, sisters Simba Hinton, Zauida Hinton, Sandra Hinton, sister/best friend Ameena Hakim, brothers Luther Aldridge, William Hinton, Stanley Hinton; his closest friends Sonya and her two children who he affectionally called "his little ones" Lyric and Emani, Julie Bugarcic and a host of nieces, nephew, cousins. Jeffery will never be forgotten and will be truly missed
