D'mari Antonio Gooch arrived into this world on February 5, 2016 at University Hospital of Cleveland, Ohio to Shamone Gooch and Desmond Miller.

D'mari was born at 24 weeks premature, he had a challenging start. He continued to grow at a pace that was unique to his ability. Watching him grow taught us the meaning of being patient yet optimistic in this fast pace world. Even though his ability was at a pace unique to him, he would surprise us with a smile in a unspoken word, in a spoken way, to say "Look what I have done".

Whenever older brother Darion came to visit D'mari would come to show him affection by grabbing his leg and not wanting to let go! He was a people person when others are in the room. Letting them know with his affection that he never want to be left alone! He enjoyed the outdoors playing in the grass with his younger brother Cameron. He developed a Love for Disney's "The Lion King" and a host of other movies. He was always drawn to toys with movements that had sounds and lights with colors.

Riding in the car while running errands, was a challenge because in a unspoken way he preferred to remain in the car to enjoy the outdoors and beautiful trees and sights of cars passing by! D'mari had a big sweet tooth for fruits. If there was something he did not want, he would knock it off the table, to say "No I don't want this". Nights were special times for him as he would in a spoken way, select a story he want read while quickly turning to pages in search of colorful illustrations that speaks a thousands words!

Even though D'mari had a mis-ability to grow as quickly as others, over time his progress could be seen! When his maternal grandmother spent quality time with him she would on occasion whistle! D'mari shared the bond he developed with her on visits, by getting her attention as he whistled to say in that unspoken word "I've been practicing" what you've taught me Granny. He attended Robert Jamison School and was surrounded by teachers and staffs who loved and show support towards his advancements.

On June 3rd 2023 D'mari Antonio Gooch, was rush to University Hospital. After a short time in intensive care, he faded into a deep sleep that resulted in a decision that no mother would ever want to face! On June 7th 2023 while surrounded by his nurturing mother Shamone, brothers Darion and Cameron, Grand-Parents Melvin and Brenda, as well as close family, D'mari's heart was not able to keep up with the rhythm on its own and the family braced him for the last time!

He is survived by his mother Shamone Gooch; father Desmond Miller; brothers Darion and Cameron; grandparents Melvin and Brenda Kee; aunts DeAngela Wiggins and Tina Williams and a host of granduncles, grandaunts and cousins.
